Ethical fashion: What if it were easier?
Every once in a while in the life of Fashion Loves People, I hit a little roadblock — a roadblock that keeps me guessing about what content will be as useful (and cool) as possible. This time, rather than rack my brain any longer, I figured it was time for my first one of these: A reader survey!
I know there are many of you who read this blog but don't chime in very often, and I'd truly like to hear from each and every one of you. Yes, YOU! But that's just research, so how about a giveaway as well? For every 10 of you who fills out this survey, I'll give away one Fashion Loves People tee of your choice. (So your chances are 1 in 10, no matter how many people join in.) What a DEAL!
Thanks so much for your input. It always means the world to me!

Are there any types of posts that would make you even more interested in reading it? Mark all that apply:

My (Janette's) own personal style
Brand reviews
Product reviews
Profiling small, independent brands
Profiling initiatives made by big brands
Video
Info on maintaining/repairing items in your closet
Sharing my used/vintage finds

Why? Any others?
When you're shopping, what socially conscientious features of a brand/product are most important to you? Mark your top 3-5:
Fair labor / Human rights
Environmentally friendly (organic, recycled, recyclable, etc.)
Vegan
For-benefit (benefitting a social cause)
Supporting independent business
Quality construction
Classic design (not just a passing trend)
Versatility (can work with many things in many ways)
Independently designed (supporting entrepreneurism/creativity)
Vintage/Used
Ethnic diversity
Empowering all body shapes & sizes
Consignment
Realistically, how much do these factors play into the fashion purchases you make? What do you prioritize most? (Like, does price end up trumping everything else, or style? Etc.)
In what other areas do you pay the most attention to the ethical backstory behind what you buy? Rate from 1-3(+): Food, Fashion, Interiors, Other (please explain)
If I made a page on Fashion Loves People that was hit list of fashion brands to buy from and not to buy from, according to my own interpretation of their style and social conscientiousness, would you use it? What information about each brand would you be most interested in seeing there?
I want Fashion Loves People to be as useful as possible, and I want ethical shopping decisions to be as easy for you to make as possible. Is there anything else I can do for you?
Any other suggestions/feedback?
